1) Who is Aaron Rodgers?

Aaron Rodgers is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Packers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft after playing college football at California. Rodgers is the NFL’s all-time career leader in passer rating during the regular season. He holds the league record for career touchdown-to-interception ratio (4.23), tied for the best single-season touchdown-to-interception ratio (12:1 in 2011), and is the only quarterback to average over 300 yards passing per game for a career (310.4).

In his first season as a starter in 2008, Rodgers led the Packers to the NFC Championship Game and was named the NFL MVP. He was also named the Associated Press Athlete of the Year for the second time in his career. Another one of Rodgers’ most famous moments came during the 2010 NFC Championship game against the Chicago Bears. With the Packers trailing 21-14 in the fourth quarter, Rodgers led the team on a game-tying drive that culminated with a touchdown pass to wide receiver Jordy Nelson. The Packers would go on to win the game in overtime, thanks in large part to Rodgers’ heroics.

Finally, one of Rodgers’ most recent famous moments came in a Week 1 game against the Seattle Seahawks in 2018. With the Packers trailing 17-14 in the fourth quarter, Rodgers threw a short pass to wide receiver Geronimo Allison, who then proceeded to hurdles a Seahawks defender en route to a 75-yard touchdown. The play helped the Packers erase a late deficit and come away with a victory.
